Platinum Blend – Premium Edge Blending Solvent

Fade-out Solvent Platinum Blend is a high-performance, ready-to-spray blending agent engineered for seamless edge transitions in select Platinum Base 2K urethane topcoats. Specifically formulated for use in invisible blend repairs, Platinum Blend allows you to melt the edge of the topcoat into the existing finish—eliminating hard edges and creating a flawless, undetectable repair. Ideal for situations where full panel refinishing isn’t practical, this product offers professional results with minimal effort, making it an essential tool for efficient spot repairs and touch-ups.

 Application of the Platinum Blend must be performed using a two-gun method. The first gun will contain

either a Platinum Cryl Single Stage System, or a Platinum Clearcoat system, and the second gun will contain

the Blending Solvent used to melt the wet edge of the blend.

• Using the two gun method adjust air pressure of the second gun containing the Platinum Blend to 1.5~2.5bar

for conventional gravity or siphon feed.

• Spray 1-2 even wet-on-wet coats to melt in the outer edge of the Platinum Cryl Single Stage color or Platinum Clearcoat at a gun distance of 15~20cm. Recommended dry film thickness is 5~10㎛. Allow Platinum Blend to dry overnight

or after cool down from force dry then lightly buff repair area, if required.

• Dust free in 1-3 minutes and dry to buff after 24 hours.
