Technical Information:

• Pot Life: Approximately 4-6 hours at 70-75°F (21-24°C) once mixed – mix only what you need to avoid waste (pot life shortens in higher temperatures).

Instructions for Use (DIY-Friendly):

1. Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean the surface to remove oil, grease, wax, and contaminants. Remove all rust, scale, or loose paint. Sand bare metal (80-180 grit for adhesion), aluminum, fiberglass, or body filler (appropriate grit for smooth profile), or scuff existing finishes (220-400 grit). Wipe down with a wax and grease remover.
2. Mixing (Including Custom Grays): Stir each primer base (Gray, White, or Black) thoroughly. For custom grayscale: Combine White and Black bases in your desired ratio (e.g., more White for lighter gray, more Black for darker – a little Black goes a long way). Mix well until uniform color is achieved. Then measure equal parts (1:1) of the blended primer base and hardener by volume. Mix well for 1-2 minutes until uniform. Allow a short induction time if specified (typically 5-10 minutes for epoxies). Do not thin unless needed for spraying (use compatible epoxy reducer sparingly).
3. Application:
   • Apply 1-2 medium wet coats, allowing 10-15 minutes flash time between coats.
   • Use HVLP or conventional spray gun (1.4-1.8 mm tip recommended, 25-35 PSI).
   • For sealing: Apply a single lighter coat.
   • Maintain wet edges to avoid dry spray.
4. Drying & Sanding: Allow to air dry overnight for full cure and best sanding (P400-P600 grit wet or dry). For faster results, force dry per equipment guidelines.
5. Topcoating: Compatible with most 1K/2K automotive paints. Sand if recoat exceeds 24-72 hours.
6. Cleanup: Clean equipment immediately with appropriate solvent (acetone or epoxy reducer). Dispose of waste properly.
